US state of Alaska raises $2m in cannabis taxes

Figures released by the Alaskan Department of Revenue indicate that monthly income from cannabis taxes continually rose in 2019 and were over $2m in October. According to state law, 50% of this income is used in a recidivism reduction fund, 25% goes to cannabis education, and 25% is used for general state funds.
