US cannabis seizures on the Michigan-Canada border increase by 1,700%

According to the United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP), the quantity of cannabis seized at the Michigan-Canada border increased 1,700% in 2020. In total, more than 9,000 lbs of cannabis were seized during the 12 months prior to June 2020. Additionally, 211 pounds of cocaine, 15 pounds of fentanyl and 1.5 pounds of methamphetamines were seized in the same area.
