Ukraine legalises use of cannabis extracts for medical purposes

Ukraine’s Cabinet of Ministers has legalised the medical use of the synthetic cannabis-like chemicals dronabinol and nabilone, as well as the cannabis extract, nabiximol. These products can now be used to treat several conditions including loss of appetite, nausea and neuropathic pain. The new law stipulates that they may only be used as medical drugs or as part of the production of other medical drugs.
