Smoking at home classified as domestic abuse in Thailand

On 20 August, legislation was passed in Thailand that banned smoking at home. The new law makes it illegal to smoke at home in the presence of other people, with anyone caught doing so liable to face prosecution under domestic abuse laws. The government has set up a hotline for people to report smokers.
