Singapore to introduce plain packaging for tobacco products by 2020

The Ministry of Health in Singapore has said that by 2020 tobacco will be sold in standardised packaging with no logos or branding and with graphic health warnings covering 75% of the packet. The new regulations will apply to all tobacco packets and will be implemented in July 2020 following a three-month transition period.
