Alcohol related deaths in Glasgow, Scotland reduced by 21.5% between 2017 and 2018, a reduction partially attributed to the introduction of minimum unit pricing. The policy, set in May 2018, stipulates a minimum price-per-unit for alcohol, currently set at 50p.
