Mexico’s high court rejects low-THC cannabis bill

Mexico’s Supreme Court has overturned a bill that would ban growing cannabis with less than 1% tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), saying that the bill was ‘unconstitutional’. Companies in Mexico will now be able to sell low-THC products such as topical creams, oils and drinks. Legislation on legalising recreational cannabis remains in progress.
