​Mexican government given a further six months to agree cannabis legislation

The Mexican Congress has been granted an extension of six months by the Mexican Supreme Court to agree on legislation to legalise cannabis. The initial deadline of 31 October 2019 passed without the government reaching an agreement. The legislation will outline rules on foreign ownerships of cannabis businesses and on licensing procedures.
