Lithuania legislators reject bill to lower legal drinking age to 18

Legislators in Lithuania have rejected an amendment bill that would have reduced restrictions on alcohol sales. The legislation had proposed to lower the legal drinking age from 20 to 18 years old. It had also proposed to extend alcohol selling hours in supermarkets. The bill was rejected by 63 to 51 votes.
