Heated tobacco product sales blocked in Australia

The Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) has rejected a request by tobacco company Philip Morris to reschedule nicotine legislation to allow sales of heated tobacco products (HTPs) in Australia. More than 50 countries have approved the sales of HTPs, but the TGA refuted the request, stating that the products have no public health benefit.
