Drug consumption report for Australia

The Australian government has released figures on drug, alcohol and tobacco consumption. Tobacco remains the leading cause of cancer in Australia although daily smoking prevalence halved between 1991 and 2016 to 12%. Alcohol use has remained stable. Recorded methamphetamine deaths increased fourfold between 1999 and 2017.
