Domestic alcohol sales almost double in Norway during the COVID-19 pandemic

Sales of domestic alcohol products in Norway have increased by 44% compared with the same time last year as travel restrictions imposed due to the COVID-19 pandemic prevent the purchase of cheaper alcohol abroad. The closure of Norway’s borders has benefited private-sector importers and producers.
