Decrease in smoking and vaping prevalence in Finland

The Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare (THL) has reported that, in 2018 smoking prevalence among people aged 20 to 64 was 15% for men and 13% for women. Smoking prevalence has consistently declined since the 1960s for men and since the 2000s for women. Vaping among the Finnish population is low (2% of adults) with use decreasing among adolescents.
