Czech Republic establishes 1% THC limit on cannabis-based products
The Czech Republic’s president has signed a bill establishing a 1.0% limit on tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) in industrial hemp. From January 2022, the Czech Republic will permit more than three times the limit established by the European Union (EU) for “non-drug cannabis” and “drug cannabis”. New EU laws establishing a maximum THC content of 0.3% are due to take effect in 2023.
