CBD food supplements recalled in Ireland

Ireland’s Food Safety Authority (FSAI) has issued a recall notice on several food supplements after they were found to contain unauthorised levels of the psychoactive ingredient from cannabis, tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). The FSAI reported that unsafe levels of THC had been found in several batches of cannabidiol (CBD) products. Retailers have been advised to remove the affected products from sale.
